Clifton Murray is now a member of the Canadian Tenors. This group of young men travel the world bringing their brand of joy and happiness through song to countless thousands of people. May 9th saw them on stage with David foster and friends, which included Paul Anka, Cher, Earth Wind and Fire, Charice, and many more, in a gala evening which put these relative newcomers over the top and into the limelight of the music industry. Oprah’s people were there and raved about their performance and 10,000 people in the audience at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Vegas jumped to their feet in a thunderous standing ovation when the Tenors completed the David Foster piece he had written for them called ‘because I believe’. Clifton is now on his way to stardom, after getting his start serving our guest table at Nimmo Bay from the age of 8. The Tenors also headlined with Sting and Cheryl Crowe on the evening of May 21 at the Air Canada Center in Toronto. www.canadiantenors.com They were also just at Nimmo Bay (June 13 - 16) doing a photo shoot for their new Christmas album which will be available in early November and an upcoming music video.

2008 Thanksgiving Newsletter

Boston Legal comes to NImmo Bay once again.

Set your watches, TV’s and TIVO’s

                           for  December 8th.

This will be the very final episode of Boston Legal.

As you all know, an episode called" FINDING NIMMO" was filmed here in 2005.  William Shatner and James Spader came to Nimmo Bay on a fishing trip and caught the wild salmon fever from catching fish, and ended up in a BC courtroom in Port McNeill trying to save the wild salmon from the devastation from sea lice.

Now Denny Crane (Shatner) and Alan Shore (Spader) are back once again to give you, our guests and millions of others, an ending to this Emmy winning series that will never be forgotten.  The end of this two hour special on ABC is filmed at Nimmo Bay: with a surprise ending that will leave you laughing in the isles, gasping with disbelief or crying with compassion. Perhaps all of the above and maybe at the same time.

We are sad to see this great show come to an end, but it will live on with its many fans for years to come.

G E O R G I A   M U R R A Y, our daughter, was handed a gift at the end of The Boston Legal shoot.  The cinematographers stayed four extra days to make Georgia’s new music video,  "BackThere".  It will be mastered and released in early January and hopefully it will be seen on much music and many other places as her singing career is about to take off.   Let us know if you would like a copy of this Georgia Murray original song.  It will be available in HD and Blue Ray.
