Clifton Murray is now a member of the Canadian Tenors. This group of young men travel the world bringing their brand of joy and happiness through song to countless thousands of people. May 9th saw them on stage with David foster and friends, which included Paul Anka, Cher, Earth Wind and Fire, Charice, and many more, in a gala evening which put these relative newcomers over the top and into the limelight of the music industry. Oprah’s people were there and raved about their performance and 10,000 people in the audience at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Vegas jumped to their feet in a thunderous standing ovation when the Tenors completed the David Foster piece he had written for them called ‘because I believe’. Clifton is now on his way to stardom, after getting his start serving our guest table at Nimmo Bay from the age of 8. The Tenors also headlined with Sting and Cheryl Crowe on the evening of May 21 at the Air Canada Center in Toronto. www.canadiantenors.com They were also just at Nimmo Bay (June 13 - 16) doing a photo shoot for their new Christmas album which will be available in early November and an upcoming music video.

Georgia Murray has completed a wonderful music video called “Backthere”. It has her own composition featured and she has just written 5 new songs to accompany this work of art. Boston Legal cinematographers, after shooting the final episode at Nimmo Bay, stayed over 4 extra days to make Georgia this music video. It was shot with a 35 MM movie cameras and professional HD film used for television. Norm Li and Bill Aydelotte were the cameramen and the video was edited by Tony Day, Fraser and Clifton Murray, Norm Li and Georgia Murray. You can view her new music video at www.georgiamurray.net

If you are outside of Canada and using American currency, be aware that there is now a 10 - 15% discount to come to Nimmo Bay because of the exchange rates. 2009’s angling season starts at the end of July and continues through until the end of October. On the 14th of November, 2009, Forbes Traveler in conjunction with the Travel Channel will be putting on Television a continuing series called The Lux 11. 11 luxury wilderness properties are featured and Nimmo Bay is one of them. They managed to capture everything we do at the resort when they were here filming in 2008, so it will a great show to watch. Tune in to the Travel Channel November 14th.
