Resort Activities

Included in all of our Nimmo Bay Programs is a wide variety of activities that take place in and around the resort itself. These are offered to all of our guests and are available to enhance your Nimmo Bay experience. All necessary equipment is supplied.

Kayaking:

This activity is often done in the morning with coffee, but guided day kayaking trips are offered as well. Here you will explore coastal islands while enjoying one of our famous gourmet picnics.

Paddle Boarding:

Paddle the peaceful shoreline, look out for bears, seals, and eagles.  There is no better way to get a close up with mother nature as you are silently embraced into her world.

Bear Watching:

Watching bears around Nimmo Bay can be done from power boat, paddle board, kayak, and sometimes while you are hiking our trails.

Hiking:

Hike our beautiful Big Nimmo Trail along the shoreline, in and out of the forest and along the beach, for a nice morning stroll. Dedicate an afternoon walking alongside the waterfalls and rivers just up the bank from the Resort, or if you're up to it, hike the glorious 5500 ft Mt. Stevens behind the resort.

Rock Climbing:

Climb the 60 ft rock wall at the back of the bay in the safety of a rope harness and a professional instructor.

Paint Ball:

Groups of six or twelve take to the enchanted woods and battle it out till the dinner bell rings.

Fly Fishing Lessons:

Whether you are a beginner or the seasoned fisher person,  there is always something to learn about our local waters.

Snorkling:

Swim along the shallows, dive for starfish and watch over as our local dungeness and rock crab go about their business.

Rope Swing:

Take a dive off of the 50ft rope swing and drop directly into the ocean waters at the back of the bay.

Tubing:

Being pulled behind our 90 horsepower boat is a rush for anyone, no matter what your age.

Wake Boarding:

Learn new skills or build upon existing skill as you jump the wake, or hold on for dear life.

Boat PICNICS

Boat to a local white shell beach with a view down the inlet, while your guide sets up lunch. Take it all in with family and friends.

Evening Sunset Boat Cuise:

After a long day you might simply want to sit back and relax with a glass of champagne as your guide takes you for an evening cruise.

Yoga:

In our studio, on the open floating dock, on the beach or in the forest, there is really no better way to solidify your experience.

Fitness Room:

Work up a sweat in our floating Fitness Room where you will find free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes and a serene view.

Photography:

Around every corner lies an incredible opportunity to capture nature in all its splendour. Photograph sea lions, whales, bears, rugged coast line and old growth forest. The possibilities are truly endless.

Wind Surfing:

In the right conditions you can jump off the dock and wind surf around the bay.
