Fly fishers are welcome to bring their own fly rod and reel (WF8 wt F/S) for Salmon & Steelhead fishing. Hardy fly fishing equipment is for sale in our gift shop. Terminal tackle, waders and stream boots are supplied.

Luggage Restrictions: The 25lb luggage allowance can be exceeded. However, guests will be charged an extra fee to have bags transported to Nimmo Bay Resort from the Port Hardy airport.
Weights & Balances: It is essential that our office receives all guest weights 60 - 90 days prior to arrival. Extreme weights may require the addition of an extra helicopter or limiting the total passengers in an A Star Helicopter to 4 or 5 instead of 6 passengers. Full helicopter payment will be required should this situation occur. Again, this is simply for the comfort and safety of all passengers.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation. The balance of payment is due 60 days before arrival. Bookings received within 60 days of your arrival, require full pre-payment. Cancellations received more than 90 days before arrival will result in a 25% penalty on the deposit, with the balance of the deposit being put toward a future booking within a 12 month period, depending upon available space. Cancellations received between 60 and 90 days before arrival will result in a 50% penalty on the deposit, with the balance of the deposit being put toward a future booking within a 12 month period, depending upon available space. There are no refunds of deposit or final balance if the cancellation is received less than 60 days before arrival.

Cancellation Insurance:

The resort strongly recommends that all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance. Our seasonal business prevents the resort from making exceptions to the 90 & 60 day cancellation policy. Please consult insurance providers in advance of booking regarding trip cancellation insurance.
