West Coast Helicopters is Nimmo Bay’s supplier of choice. For years we have been using Eurocopter A-Star helicopters. These modern magic carpets provide you with panoramic views from sea-level to 13,000 feet throughout coastal and mainland BC. Every passenger has an uninterrupted 180 degree forward facing view. Our pilots/guides are hand picked and know the geography, history and wildlife of our area. Each year they are re-certified and mountain safety tested. They are your navigators of the skies, and are skilled in angling techniques, hospitality and service and local knowledge.
Helicopter Engineers are kept on staff to provide daily maintenance for uninterrupted operation. There are also backup aircraft available to ensure your daily access to the wilderness.
Our Helicopters are safety equipped and have digital sound systems featuring iPod MP3 Audio Players for a fabulous selection of music with which to choreograph your magic carpet ride. Bring your own iPod or other MP3 player for your own musical selection.
Seating for Six passengers plus the pilot, we carry all supplies for the day, gourmet lunch, and fishing gear for both fly and spin casting.
